Black Diamonds is an independent supporters group of New Mexico United. Our mission is to promote and advance the Black community through advocacy when it comes to opportunity, access, services, and needs desiring to be met. We’re an all-inclusive group with a shared understanding of the importance of our mission.

New Mexico has very few resources available strictly for the consumption of the Black community. Most resources available are designed in a one-size-fits-most model that don’t always address the needs of the Black community. We didn’t find any organization in New Mexico dedicated to Black LGBTQIA. The Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico is a close second because while TGRCNM

serves all transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse people, individuals receiving a large percentage of services are trans feminine people of color, specifically individuals who are Latinx, Indigenous, and Black. This is because these are the populations in the most need. 

Black Diamonds is happy to join Prideraiser ‘22 to stand in the gap and raise money for the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico to continue to provide direct services, education, and advocacy to all TGNBI. We aim to continue our relationship beyond the Prideraiser to see how we can partner together to create more resources for Black TGNBI individuals. 

How it works:

You make a pledge for every goal United First Team and United U23 scores in the month of June starting on the 4th and ending at the conclusion of the match against Monterey Bay on July 2. 

Our $6.19 pledge amount is symbolic of Juneteenth. You are free to adjust the value as you see fit. 

At the end of our campaign, you'll receive an email to complete your donation to Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico.
