Privateers 1882 was founded on the principles of inclusion and respect. We support more than just football. We support Halifax and the people in it. That’s why we’re proud to participate in Prideraiser in our very first year supporting HFX Wanderers FC.

For each and every goal scored by HFX Wanderers FC during the month of June, we’ll be raising funds for Youth Project NS.

What’s the Youth Project? It’s an organization that provides support and services to youth, 25 and under, all across Nova Scotia around issues of sexual orientation and gender identity through support groups, counseling, educational workshops, social events, and other means.

Here’s how you can help:

• Make a pledge of a few dollars (as much or as little as you want, every bit helps!) for each goal that the Wanderers score in June. (They play six matches, four at home and two away)

• Once June is over, we’ll contact you to make your donation directly to the Youth Project NS.
